Obituary of Lois Moorhead

NA Lois N. Moorhead Lois beloved mother and grandmother, was received by her Lord and Savior on May 8,2011. She was a Lady greatly loved and respected by her family. Lois Noreen Moorhead, daughter of William and Julia Kirkeide was born August 17, 1916 in Cromwell, Washington. She married Dale J. Moorhead on June 6, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1977. Lois is survived by their son Keith D. (Karen) Moorhead, daughter J. Caroline Requa, 4 grandchildren Lori L. (Brian) Johnson, W. Dale (Diana) Requa, Todd Requa , Andrew Requa (Tonya), 5 great grandchildren, Nicolas, Natalie, Narissa Johnson, Katie and Chrissy Requa, and favorite Nephew Joe(Janet) Downey. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Vivienne Downey, Avis Thornhill and infant brother Keith Kirkeide. Fallen asleep in Christ. Raised in Glory. At her request a private graveside service was held in Mountain View Cemetery Tacoma, WA. Family suggests memorials may be made to Central Lutheran Church 409 N. Tacoma Avenue Tacoma, WA 98403.
