Obituary of Joy Marie Mitchell

JOY MARIE MITCHELL Joy Marie Mitchell, 54 passed away from a stroke, January 4, 2005 in Olympia, WA. She was born February 27, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN to Mildred & Robert Peterson. Joy loved her three sons very much. Her granddaughters were the light of her life. She surrounded herself with many pictures of them and bragged of them to all who would listen. Her favorite pastimes were going to garage sales, collecting angels and having coffee with the crew at the Rib Eye. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her but we know she is soaring with god’s collection of angels. She is survived by her three sons: Donald B. Peterson & wife Jan of Apple Valley CA; David M. Peterson & wife Debbie of Oak Harbor, WA; Daniel J. Ditlow of Olympia, WA. She is also survived by her granddaughters McKenna & Saige of Oak Harbor, WA; her grandson Brandon of Bellevue WA. Also, surviving is her best friend & partner George Ulery. Brother Tomas Peterson, sisters Donna Whitney & Carol Lantrip. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred & Robert Peterson; Grandparents Otis Youso & Dinora Abrams Those wishing to honor Joy’s memory are asked to make a donation in her name to their favorite charity.
