I work with Linda, Dale's mother, and was very saddened and heartbroken when I heard of his passing. I did not know Dale very well, but I have met all of the family members, including him. To the Millard, Whitney & Phillips family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. We don't know what GOD's will is at any time, but we know that HE has a purpose. Linda is a very strong mother in this time. My prayers are for you and Robert. I am very thankful for all our talks and the insights we give each other. It helps to lessen the burden and greif. I have a young daughter and the thought of losing her is beyond thinking. I can't know what you are going through, Linda. But we do this One Day At A Time. That is all the LORD has given us. This one day. So have peace, knowing that your son and brother is doing his part with the LORD. GOD BLESS!!

I went to high school with Dale and was very saddened to hear about the tragic loss of his life. Reading all the other entries, they've said it all...I remember Dale in a hat, in khaki or camoflauge, ALWAYS smiling, ALWAYS nice to everybody:) I don't believe I know any of his family, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dale will be greatly missed by everybody and I hope everybody can use their happy memories of him to help you through this terrible time.

We were very saddened to hear about Dale. We first met Dale when he was about 5 years old. He was a cute, happy guy. I don't ever remember seeing him angry. Levi loved spending time with him, playing outside with GI Joes, hiking and wrestling. I always felt very comfortable with Dale, he was a really nice guy and we will miss him, I always picture him with a hat and wearing something camoflauge. Our prayers are with you all at this time.

Dale will be missed so much in so many lives! It was such a great plessure and blessing in my life to be his little sister. I was so scared to have six older siblings after 17 years of being an olny child. He made me feel welcomed in the family before Dad and Mom (Linda) got married. He was the first to call me little sis and I will always remember him as my big brother. Lisa will always be a part of our family and I will love her forever. She is a wonderful sister-in-law. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to say good-bye. I love you Dale! You will always be in my heart as a big brother!

We love you so much Lisa and we are so sorry about this tragedy. You are truly in our thoughts and prayers. We never got the chance to meet Dale, but we feel like we knew him so much through all the wonderful stories which have been shared of him. We can't stop thinking about what a great missionary he will be in heaven to all those victims of the tsunami now and to many others. "Peace be unto you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid."

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dale will surely be missed but not forgotten. Josh loved the time he spent with Dale before Josh's mission. Josh sends his condolences and wishes he could be here, but he knows that Dale would tell him, "serving the Lord comes first". We have always ejoyed the times we have spent with your family. We hope that you will find peace in knowing that Dale is still serving the Lord.

Our Hearts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time in all your lives. We must take solace in the knowledge of eternal families, and knowing that there is life after this one. Though this loss breaks our hearts.. please remember, he was spared of any lingering painful illness. His spirit is at peace and in a Heavenly Place of which you can be sure. Keep the memories of his life alive by speaking of him often, that is what he would have wanted. We want to also extend our love to all of you, especially Mom-Linda and Step-dad-Ivan whom are our friends, and to his dear sweet wife. You are in our prayers,
Arlo and Mary Smith

May you find comfort knowing that Dale is with the Lord. We know not the moment that our Lord will call us home. The love you share with Dale does not end, it merely changes form. Dale has gone to his heavenly home to help prepare a place for Lisa and others that he loves.
To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.
We love you,
Frank and Maggie Chamberlain
