Adrian Lee Mezzie
Adrian was born in Portland, Oregon on January 2, 1975. He died in his home on November 2, 2007 from a Glioblastoma brain tumor. He is survived by his wife Cassaundra L. Mezzie; sons Ethan Isiah Mezzie and Joshua Adriel Mezzie; and his daughter Madisson Annelise Mezzie; his mother, Karen Marie Mezzie; brother, Travis Christopherson; and his grandparents, Carl and Mary Mezzie.
Adrian graduated from Taft High School of Lincoln City, Oregon in 1993 and later joined the Air Force in December, 1998. He almost completed his CCAF (Associated Degree) but got sick before he could complete the required credits. He was stationed in California at Beale AFB where he met his wife Cassie while TDY to Italy. Adrian and Cassie were married in Marysville, California on April 11, 2001. He was stationed in Japan from 2002 until 2006 when they discovered his terminal illness. He also served in Italy and Germany.
Adrian loved to play Basketball and lift weights. He dedicated his life to Christ and loved to study his bible. Most of all he loved to witness to people about our Lord Jesus Christ, His love and Gospel truths. He and his family attended Prairie Baptist Fellowship of Yelm, Washington.
His family loves him very much. We miss him terribly but we know he is in Heaven with Our God and Savior Jesus Christ. His memory will be cherished until we meet him again. He was a wonderful man with a very big heart. We know he loved and adored his family with all his heart. His life was a testament to Christ’s love for all of us and through his life and death all he wanted was to glorify Christ. I know God told him, “Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant”. We know you are with your creator now Baby, we will never forget you and always cherish you in our hearts. We love you so deeply, your Family!
