Judee McAffee

Obituary of Judee Robertson McAffee

Judee Robertson McAffee Judee lost her valiant battle with cancer on March 12, 2012. She was born May 17, 1941 in Long Beach, California. She was educated in boarding school as a child, and attended high school and college in Long Beach, California. She spent the majority of her career as a secretary and an office manager, where she warmed the hearts of all her coworkers with her brilliant smile and vivacious passion for life. Judee had a deeply rooted Christian faith, and spent her entire life as a loyal servant of God. She felt everyone deserved to feel the warmth and joy of His love, as she did. She was active in many volunteer programs in the hope she could show people they were deserving of unconditional love and happiness. She spent countless hours volunteering at the hospitals, helping the homeless, and ministering in the prisons, showing every individual she encountered that God's love could ignite a passion for life, which could never be extinguished--a passion that burned bright in her until the very end. After 25 wonderful years with her family in Arizona, the lure of beautiful Olympia triumphed. After many stays with her best friend of 50 years, Donna Altman and her husband, Judee decided she loved Olympia and the people so much that it was time to make it her home. Judee is survived by her daughter, Kristi and husband Richard Irwin, and their daughter, Amanda; and her son, Jeff and his wife Kendra McAffee, and their three children, Ethan, Anna and Ella.
