Obituary of Andrew R. Marvick

Andrew Roscoe Marvick, 24, of Tumwater, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Andy was born on February 10, 1984 in Martinez, California to Michael and Michele Marvick. He attended Country High School and graduated in 2003, Vacaville, California.During his short life, Andrew worked as a Life Guard at Laguna Park, Busboy for the Atrium in Charmichael, Customer Service for McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Chevron, and Motel 6. When not working, he enjoyed a variety of activities that included, Paint Balling, Frizbee Golf, watching movies, listening to music, BB gun shooting, cooking and camping. He also played the piano and had in interest in clowns. Andrew is survived by his parents, Michele Hensley, Jack Hensley and Leona Marvick; grandparents Raul and Wyona Vela, Barry Marvick, Sally Marvick, and Myra Muller; sisters Brandy Marvick, Heather Hensley, Connie Marvick, and Carrie Marvick; girlfriend, Sandy Bollman; Aunts and Uncles Lonnie & Rhonda Muller, Greg & Gisela Muller, Anthony & Raul (Duff) Vela, & many extended family members in WA and many extended family members in WA and good friends; Nick Edmonds, Matt Baker, Sam Tompkins, and Pat McMurry. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Marvick; grandparents, Shirley Marvick and William Muller; and uncles, Victor Marvick and Bert Marvick. Andrew was very loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. He touched many lives in a unique way. May Andrew’s journey lead him to where he wanted to be. Family and Friends of Andrew will gather for a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Motel 6 in Tumwater.
