Obituary of Irvin Lyne

Buzz (Irvin) Lyne Buzz Lyne, 82, a 47 year resident of Tumwater, passed away on March 10, 2010 from cancer. He was born April 7, 1927 in Olympia to Frank and Cora (Moulton) Lyne. Prior to Tumwater, Buzz lived in Olympia for 35 years. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1945. Buzz served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947. On February 25, 1961 he married Ginny Boutwell, who survives. For 25 years Buzz was a beer/wine salesman with the Black Hills District. Buzz loved all sports, especially golf. He enjoyed spending time in Hawaii and Arizona. He was a member of Bayshore Golf Course in Shelton and will be remembered by many as friendly and with a great sense of humor. Including his wife, Ginny, Buzz is survived by two sons, Randy Stewart (Linda) of Olympia and Kevin Stewart (Rose) of Tenino; two daughters, Kamala Burkey (Tracey) and Robin Clements (Michael Land); also ten grandchildren, Amber, Kyler, Karly, Breanna, Chelsey, Gage, Harlan, Elyse, Jade, and Mikah. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Hojem; and his parents. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Columbian Hall, 6794 Martin Way E., Lacey, Washington 98516.
