Obituary of Nick K. Lukin

No visitation Nick K. Lukin Nick K. Lukin, 92, a 46 year resident of Paulsbo, Washington, died Monday October 22, 2007 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. Nick was born June 1, 1915 in Redrock, California to Kushma and Sarah (Permanoff) Lukin. He had been married to Orvilla Carter and later divorced. He married Ethel Callaham in 1963 on Bainbridge Island, she died in August of this year. He had also resided in Aberdeen, Montesano and Algona, Washington. Nick was a member of the operating Engineers. He worked at Shafer Brothers, Kitsap Sand and Gravel, Grays Harbor Plywood and Todd Shipyard. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, gardening and hunting. He was a member of the Silverdale Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Lukin, Montesano and Mel Lukin of Westport; one daughter, Nicholyn Lukin of Olympia; one sister Lillian of Idaho; also three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. The family suggests memorial donations to a charity of your choice. At Nick’s request, there will be no service.
