Obituary of Wayne W. Lowe

Wayne W. Lowe, 91, a resident of Tumwater died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Olympia. He was born November 5, 1913 in Chehalis, Wa to Archelus Freeman and Alice E. (Brown) Lowe. He graduated from Adna High School in 1933. He married Ellen (Banevich) on March 19, 1938. He lived in Raymond from 1940 to 1945 and Centralia from 1945 to 1989. Wayne enjoyed the Spanish language, music, traveling in his RV and Gardening. He was a member of the International Bricklayers Union. He was president from 1970 to 1971. He volunteered for the Intercity Transit. He also volunteered for Senior Center of Olympia. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Lowe; Son, Wayne Richard Lowe (Elaine); Daughters, Gail Ellen Johnson (Steven), Pat Karen Ryan (Warren); Sister, Harriet Hepler. Seven Grandchildren, Eight Great-grandchildren and four Great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archelus Freeman & Alice E. Lowe; Brother, Lyle Lowe; Sisters, Lucille and Jessie. There will be a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Masonic Center, Tumwater, Wa.
