Obituary of Ellen Lowe

Ellen Lowe, 87, a Tumwater resident, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was born March 11, 1919 in Mendoda, Wash. to John and Caroline (Toutka) Banevich. On March 19, 1938 she married Wayne W. Lowe. The couple had lived in Centralia for 44 years before moving to Tumwater in 1989. Mr. Lowe died April 24, 2005. Ellen was a garden club and art league member. She is survived by her son, Rick (Elaine) Lowe; daughters, Gail Johnson (Steve) and Pat Ryan (Warren); 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Lena Helgeson. Private inurnment will take place at Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater.
