Phyllis Stephens Lovell
Phyllis Stephens Lovell, 83, a 60 year resident of Tenino, died Sunday, December 16, 2007. She was born September 10, 1924 in Scott City, Kansas, to William C. and Myrtle E. (Pearsell) Stephens. In 1942, Phyllis graduated from Olympia High School. She was married on November 24, 1945 at Offut Lake. Her husband preceded her in death.
Phyllis worked as a clerk at Liberty Market in Tenino and Sprouse-Ritz in Tumwater. Among her hobbies were counted cross stitch, feeding wild birds and flower and gardening.
She is survived by one son, Craig Lovell of Chandler, Arizona; two daughters, Lenore (Steve) Miller, of Lake Forest Park and Susie (Del) Hinzpeter, of Tenino; one brother, R.A. Stephens, of Skagway, Alaska; also 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Friday, December 21, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the new Masonic Center, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Cemetery, Tenino.
