Obituary of Karol Lougheed

Karol Lougheed On August 22, 2011, Karol Lougheed’s guardian angel took her to heaven. She passed away peacefully at Sunrise Adult Family Home where she happily lived for the past 1 ½ years. Mom was an amazing woman. She loved living at the beach with Dad, doing arts and crafts, making things for people and seeing them smile. She loved her family, family gatherings and laughter. In her latest years when she was unable to do some of those things she loved, she enjoyed her family visits, dirty jokes, chocolate and all other sweets you brought her. Her sense of humor was outstanding even to the very end. Kudos to Mom for being a real trooper through her illness. Mom touched many lives and she will be remembered for all the love, fun and laughter we all shared with her throughout the years. Karol is survived by her daughter, Pam Haggard and husband, Mark; her son, Eric Doench and wife, Gloria; her grandchildren, Sean Doench, Nicole Dunithan, Ashley Gorzynski, Whitney Haggard, Jacob Haggard; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Lynch, Kaitlyn Lynch and Riley Gorzynski.
