Obituary of Eloise Carmen Leduc

Eloise Carmen Leduc Eloise Carmen Leduc passed February 16, 2008 at her home in Olympia. Eloise “Elly” was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan August 8, 1949. She was raised on the family farm and attended catholic school there. After graduating from high school, Elly went on to Regina Grey Nuns Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in l969. Elly worked at several hospitals before settling in Olympia in 1979. She began working at Providence St. Peter Hospital in the Baby Nursery and retired after 22 years. There are many parents thankful for Elly’s dedication to their newborns. Elly then began a private practice of Healing Touch and Baby Massage and expanded her work into Shamanic healing until the time of her death. Elly was a great mentor and healer and greatly respected by her peers. Elly truly made everyone better by being around her. She is survived by her loving husband, Philip Bridges and his two sons, Blake and Cole and his wife Toni; her mother, Fern Leduc; brother, Gerry and wife Rina, brother, Kim and wife Carla, along with nieces, Shara, Renee, and Candace; and nephews, Levi, Christopher, and Brady all of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. She was preceded in death by her father, Simon Leduc. Elly's cremation is under the direction of Funeral Alternatives of Washington. A service is planned in March and once a date for a service is confirmed, it will be given on this web site.
