Obituary of Mary Patricia Ledoux

Mary Patricia Ledoux Mary Pat Ledoux, 75 passed away December 31, 2010 at her Lacey home. She was born July 9, 1935 to Lester Harold and Kathryn (Robison) Patton. She graduated from R.A. Long High school in Longview and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at WWC. She started teaching in Longview in 1955; then to Seattle from 1955-56; moving to Bellingham where she taught half time Kindergarten in Bellevue; Mary Pat substituted and had her own pre school for 5 year olds. In 1982 she became an Elementary School Librarian after being there for 17 years. Mary Pat was married to Thomas Lehning 1955 in Longview, Washington; Andre Ledoux in 1982 in Bellevue , Washington. He preceded her in death in 1993; In 1994 Donald Avery became her partner/companion and caregiver. Surviving are her son, Douglas W. Lehning, daughters, Lisa Hutt and Jennifer Engdahl, sister Joan Konen, 4 grandchildren and companion Donald Avery. Family suggests memorial donations to Hospice or Cancer Research.
