Obituary of Donald Roy Lazelle

Donald Roy Lazelle< April 27, 1931 – August 31, 2008 Donald Roy Lazelle passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Don enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, loved casinos and playing cards. He served in the Marines from 1951 to 1953 and worked at McCord Airfield Base until he retired. He is survived by two daughters, Donda Whitwam of Olympia, and Linda Hanson of Port Townsend; four stepdaughters, Donna Livingood of Olympia, Debbie Sampley Peterson of Olympia, Diane DeTray of Puyallup, and Darla Gehrke of Olympia; two stepsons, Leonard Thompson of Castle Rock, and Robert Hess of Rainier; two brothers, Harold Lazelle of Tumwater, and Delbert Lazelle of Olympia; one sister, Janet Parker of East Olympia; also seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his father, Warren; mother, Bina; first wife, Glendia; second wife, Earlene; and brother, Lloyd. Nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
