Obituary of Christopher Larson

Christopher Larson Chris passed away October 16, 2011 in Lacey, Washington, at age 44. He was born to Allen Larson and Joanne Parker on November 26, 1966 in Tacoma, Washington. He married Melissa Higgins on September 15, 2007 in Olympia. Chris was an accomplished union painter, who volunteered his time and painting skills to paint his church. He also donated time cooking meals at the Union Gospel Mission. Chris loved to play golf and go bowling, and could barbeque a mean steak. But most of all, he loved baseball and making people laugh; he was a pro at both!! Chris came to know the Lord in the last few months of his life and, like everything he did, he did it with passion. Chris is survived by Melissa Irene Larson, John Shuttle, Crystal Larson, Anna Larson, Virginia Larson, Kyle Higgins, Jackson Higgins, Richard Larson, Vicki Larson; his parents; his siblings, Teresa Bland, Amy Cunningham, David Cunningham; his church family at Lakeside Christian Center; and his treasured dog, Autumn, who will never forget how Chris used all the money he had saved for a car to save her life. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeside Worship Center, 4245 Goldsby St. SW, Olympia, WA 98512.
