Obituary of Rosemary Landberg

None Rosemary Walker Landberg Rosemary passed away in Olympia, WA on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the age of 83. She was born on January 31, 1929, in Tacoma, WA to Stanley and Rosalie Walker. Services will be held this Saturday, June 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the River Ridge Covenant Church located at 7935 Steilacoom Rd SE, Lacey, WA 98503. Rosemary graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947. That same year, she married William Balcom in Tacoma. She lived in Tacoma for over 40 years. In 1972, she married Roger Landberg in Elma. Rosemary was known as “The Party Lady” and, over the course of her life entertained thousands of children through her birthday parties and story-telling. She devoted her life to her love of children. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Roger Landberg Sr; two sons William Balcom Jr (Olympia) and Robert Balcom (Tacoma); two daughters Julie Walker (Digby, Nova Scotia) and Karen Deleasa (Elma). She also has one sister, Marjorie Lepard (Tacoma), five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
