Obituary of Herman Frederick Lammers

Herman Frederick Lammers July 27, 1927 – September 9, 2011 Herman passed away in Tumwater, Washington, at age 84. He was born in Port Townsend, Washington, to Florence and Frederick Lammers. He attended Port Townsend public schools. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force and was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi. Herman married Mabel Hamlin in 1945. On December 7, 1973, he married Virginia Uhl in Portland, Oregon, where he lived for more than 35 years. He was a truck driver, after retiring from Crown Zellerbach Paper in Port Townsend. He enjoyed yard work, day drives, and being with his family. Herman is survived by his wife, Virginia; sons, Michael H. Lammers and Gerald L. Lammers; daughters, Kathy A. Myers and Susan M. Lammers; brothers, Clarence Lammers and Larry Lammers; sisters, Marie Anderson, Helen Heck, and Doris Huntsinger; and three grandchildren.
