Bianca Krall

Obituary of Bianca Krall

No Visitation is planned Bianca Lynn Krall, age 50, died in Olympia, Washington on Sept. 2, 2008 after a short battle with a cancerous brain tumor. Bianca was born in Seattle, Washington on July 28, 1958 to Robert Leslie Perry and Belva Louise Perry. She was the second of four children. Bianca’s early years were spent in Seattle before moving to Everett with her parents and two brothers and one sister in 1968. She graduated from Cascade High School in 1975, at the age of sixteen. Bianca met her husband, Kevin, when she was a waitress at VIP’s Restaurant in Everett. Kevin made many trips back to the restaurant and made sure he sat in her section. The first time he asked her out on a date, she said “no”. He worked as a logger at the time and rode a motorcycle. She said he scared her. Quiet, non-assuming Kevin persisted until she finally said yes. They married on November 26, 1982. Last year they celebrated 25 years of marriage by renewing their vows at the Salt Lake City Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.Bianca loved working at East Olympia Elementary in the Tumwater school district for the last 15 years. One of her favorite memories was from the Olympia earthquake in 2001. She recalled how after the shaking ended, she rushed into the closest classroom and found the classroom empty. Just as she began to panic, she realized there were little feet sticking out from under the desks. She was so relieved, and proud, how every one of “her” students reacted. Bianca loved to travel, and went on six cruises and numerous road trips, traveling everywhere, from Alaska to Jamaica, crisscrossing the country as she went. One of her wildest trips was a weeklong adventure, flying by bush plane, to assist the optometrist she worked for in Alaska. They ventured to distant villages, where she entertained the children, as the doctor examined the eyes of their parents. Bianca was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. Every one was welcome in her home. Over the years, she welcomed students from Japan, Columbia, Taiwan and Mexico. Each became a new member of the family. Her cinnamon rolls were legendary. Bianca always uplifted people’s spirits by taking time to listen. When she put her mind to accomplish a goal, no challenge was too difficult. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved caring for those around her. Every lesson she taught and dinner she planned, was given her fullest consideration. She loved to plan. Bianca is survived by her husband, Kevin, her two children, Dustin and Carly, sister, Benita Saatvedt (Jon), brothers, Byron Perry, and Bret Perry (Vickie), and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Perry and mother, Belva Perry. Services will be Saturday, Sept 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm, at the LDS Church, Hendersen Bldg. 3800 Henderson Blvd. SE in Olympia Washington. We all love you very much and you will be in our hearts daily.
