Edward D. Klamn
Edward D. “Ed” Klamn, 67, was born Feb. 25, 1942 in Seattle to Edward and Blanche Klamn. He passed away Oct. 26, 2009, of natural causes, at his home in Tenino, where he had lived for 29 years.
Ed married E. Elaine Wilson Oct. 30, 1964 in Centralia. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1980. He then became a school bus driver for over 20 years.
He liked to write poetry for special occasions and special people in his life. Ed was a member of the American Legion Post 69 and VFW Post 5878.
Ed is survived by his wife; a son, Dennis (Christie) Klamn; daughters, Denise R. (Kurt) Fletter and Donna J. (Tony) Downs; one brother and two sisters; grandchildren, Lena, Nathanial, Taylor, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Hunter, and Scout. His parents preceded him in death.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Cemetery in Tenino.
