Obituary of Tom Kisor

Tom Kisor (Thomas Joseph), was born September 21, 1960 to Carolyn Lee and Jack Kisor in Olympia, Washington. He died Monday, November 1, 2010, after a short, intense and valiant battle with cancer. Tom resided in the Tumwater/Olympia area all his life except for a few months spent in California in his younger years. He went to Michael T. Simmon's grade school and Tumwater High, 1965 - 1978. Tom's life-long passion was music - singing and being on-stage. He also enjoyed mentoring others who had musical interests. He belonged to a band (Death Squad) during his 20's - 30's. He married Lucy Crow in 1995, and during the subsequent 10 years, had his own cleaning business, and his own store "The Vertigo" in downtown Olympia. Tom is survived by a mix of siblings and step-siblings: John (Kisor), Kitty (Blocher), Barb (Breit), Jackie (Blankenship), Marg (Carras) and Jeff (Dilley). In addition, he also had numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. A VERY special thanks to the Drexel House for opening their doors.
