Obituary of Thomas Patrick Kelly

Thomas Patrick Kelly was born on January 4, 1918 in Queens, N.Y. He passed away on July 3, 2007 from cancer. Tom proudly served in the Air Force during World War II as a tail gunner on B-25's. Upon discharge, he joined the New York City Police department, retiring in 1964 as a Lieutenant. Following retirement, Tom moved to Florida to pursue his true passion, golf. He moved to Washington in 2003 to be near his family. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eileen McCarthy, Betty McGinn and Patricia Rice. He is survived by his sister, Gladys Campbell of Winter Park, Florida. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and easy going manner. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2007 at Mills and Mills Memorial Park, Tumwater. Adios Uncle Tom
