Obituary of Esther Jeanette Kehoe

Esther Jeanette Kehoe Esther Jeanette Dodson was born to George and Mahala Dodson on March 5, 1926 in Warren, Michigan. Esther grew up in Warren and eventually moved to Huntington Beach, California. There she worked for a number of years at General Telephone. In 1977, Esther moved to Tenino, Washington. That year, she bought Tiny Tim’s Drive-In, which she owned and operated for over 11 years. During that time, Esther made many friends in Tenino and people would come from all over every Friday to enjoy Esther’s homemade clam chowder. All of the girls that worked for Esther over the years at Tiny Tim’s became her “extended family”. Esther loved these girls and often thought of them fondly in later years. In the last few years of her life, Esther lived in Olympia with her daughter, Cheryl and grandson Kyle. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and going to casinos. Esther passed away at 8:40 a.m. on July 26, 2006, and will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that knew her. Esther will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Penny Arsenault of Tumwater, Cheryl Lambert of Olympia and Cindy Vance of Cornville, AZ; grandchildren; Ryan Walter of Cornville, AZ, Nicole Arsenault of Tumwater, Kaitlynn Stewart of Cornville, AZ and Kyle Lambert of Olympia and one great-grandson, Jesse Heberlein of Tumwater. A celebration of life and potluck will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Tenino Quarry House. Hamburgers, hotdogs and sodas will be provided. I'm sorry that you're feeling sad For I'm so happy now I've asked the Lord to ease the hurt And comfort you some how It's hard in the beginning, But I know you'll make it through….
