Obituary of Dana Leigh Jones

Dana Leigh Jones Dana Leigh Jones, 34, died March 15, 2009 at her home in Vancouver, WA. She was born November 6, 1974 in Salem, OR to Gay and Jerry Peterson. Dana graduated from Capitol High School in 1993, and Western Culinary Institute in Portland in 1995. Dana went on to be a chef in many fine restaurants. In 2001 she married Erick Jones in Las Vegas, NV. Dana had a great sense of humor and could always be counted on to complete any task. She was an accomplished seamstress and took great pride in dressing her daughters Kathryn, 4, and Abigayle, 2. She is survived by her husband Erick, daughters Kathryn Elizabeth, and Abigayle Sophia, her mother Gay Peterson of Tumwater and father Jerry Peterson of Lacey, brother Scott Peterson and sister Tracy Cutler, both of Tumwater. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Stella Copeland of Lacey and Amelia Mitchell of Wenatchee.
