Obituary of Luella Johnson-Brumm

Luella Johnson-Brumm Luella (Langner) Johnson-Brumm, age 93, passed away on July 9, 2011 after a short illness at Mason General Hospital, with her family at her side. She was the oldest of 12 children born to Charles and Eureka Langner on December 21, 1917 at Phillips, Wisconsin. She lived with her daughter Delores Johnson in Shelton for almost four years. In February 2011, she moved to Shelton Health and Rehab, and was admitted to Mason General when she took ill in July. She is survived by daughters, Delores (Floyd) Johnson of Shelton, WA, Joanne (Roger) Hamann of Appleton, WI, Charlotte Ziemke of Catawba, WI; sons, Clarence “Ed” (Melody) Riley of Phillips, WI, Donald “Ray” (Lois) Riley of Phillips, WI; a special step-daughter, Judith Johnson of Stacyville, Iowa; 6 other stepchildren; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lorain Ward of St. Louis Park, MN, Marion Ponshock of Biranwood, WI, Sara (Leon) Cain of Park Falls, WI; brothers, Darvin (Bea) Langner of Fifield, WI, Bernard “Ben” (Dorothy) of Medford, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eureka Langner; her grandparents, Sanford and Ona Hill; one sister; five brothers; a great grandson; and husbands, Woodrow Holt, Clarence Riley, Walter Johnson and Francis Brumm.
