Obituary of Marion Johnson

Marion L. Johnson Her loving family said good-bye to Marion on October 4, 2009. She will live in our hearts forever. Marion was born Dec.19,1917 in Cashmere WA and lived in Olympia for sixty-nine years. She worked for WA State for twenty five years. Preceded in death by her husband Austin L. Johnson in 1981, Marion was a very independent and interesting traveler, cook and reader and loved to play bridge and Scrabble. Friends and family of all ages enjoyed her company. She is survived by children: Nicola Johnson, Olympia,WA. Janice Hopwood, and Austin L. Johnson Jr. (Teresa Kelly) of Spokane, WA. Grandchildren: Alex Hopwood (Amy Simon), Fairlawn, NJ, Justin Johnson (Kelley Cribben), Brooklyn, NY, Don Hopwood, Auburn, WA. Amy Hopwood, Colin Johnson and Martin Johnson, all of Spokane, WA. Great grandsons: Stefan and Simon Hopwood and Austin Dagwood Johnson. Contributions may be made to the Olympia Food Bank or Hospice House in University Place, WA.
