Obituary of Dennis Blaine Ingham

Dennis Blaine Ingham Dennis Blaine Ingham, 65, died January 7, 2012 in Olympia, Washington after a long illness. He was born on November 1, 1946 in Elma, Washington to Blaine and Peggy Ingham. He graduated from Elma High School in 1965 and went to the University of Washington, earning a degree in civil engineering. He later returned for a master’s degree in traffic engineering. He married Kandy (Madison) in 1967 and had two children. After her death, he married Janette (Ford) in 1990. He was employed with the Department of Transportation for 30 years, ending with the job of Assistant Secretary. He retired in 1999. He then went to work for the next 10 years at the consulting firm of H.W. Lochner. He also served on the Lacey City Council from 1980-1991. He was an avid Mac user and attempted to convert all his family and friends. He used his computer skills researching his family genealogy. He was greatly admired and respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Janette; daughter Jennifer (Paul) Adams of Enumclaw; son Jeff (Kina) Ingham of Federal Way; grandchildren Karleen, Emily, Olivia, Cameron, Amanda, Delani and Tessa; and sisters Dixie (Gene) Cox and Wendy (Dan) Holcomb of McCleary.
