Obituary of Warren R. Husted

Warren Ralph Husted was born March 21st, 1920 to Howard Hurlburt Husted and Edith Knapp Husted in Youngsville Pennsylvania.He is survived by, Mary, his wife of 41 years, 4 sons, Richard, Raymond, Robert, & Brian, 2 daughters, Judith & Celia, and was preceded in death by his son Dale. He has 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Warren grew up in Youngsville, PA. He graduated from Houghton College with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1942 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country for 38 years, retiring as Major. Warren was an avid gardener, baker, handy man, and in his later years enjoyed world traveling. He was an active member in many community groups: Tacoma Mountaineers, Boy Scouts of America, American Legion, Puget Sounders Barber Shop Chorus, F. & A.M. of Washington, Afifi Shriners, A Docent at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, Scottish Rite, Order of the Amaranth, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, among others.
