Wow..chris (howie!). Im not sure if you can still get this, but I had to try. It has been several years since we last saw each other and while google has helped my find you(sorta) im am terribly sad to hear this news. I hope you and your wife have been able to find some peace since and im sorry I didn't get to be a great friend like I remember us being. You were my first friend when I moved to jackson hwy. And I hope we cross paths again soon. Again..so sorry to hear and all the best.

Addison was such an adorable little baby, I am so glad I decided to come up and meet her when I did. Even though I didn't hold her, she still touched my heart in so many ways, all curled up in a ball in her blankey and when you(Danielle) would pick her up she cooed, it was the cutest thing ever! She will always always always be remembered, Love you both so much!

My Dear Christopher and Danielle: I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain. Addison will always have a very special place in my heart. In her short time here on earth she brought me so much happiness and love and showed me a purpose. I wondered what purpose there was when your children were all grown up and had families of their own. When Addison was borned and I saw the looks on both your faces and I seen my beautiful sweet most gorgeous granddaughter I knew my purpose. Addison gave me the most wonderful memories just sitting and watching her, of her little temper tantrum and her love. Addison will always be in our hearts.

EULOGY FOR ADDISON
CHRIS & DANIELLE, LET ME START BY SAYING HOW SORRY I AM I COULDN’T BE WITH YOU TODAY, BUT KNOW THAT I’M HERE IN SPIRIT AND THOUGHT. THERE’S NOT MUCH ANYONE CAN SAY THAT WILL EVER MAKE THE HURT GO AWAY TOTALLY, BUT THERE ARE THINGS WE CAN SAY THAT MAY HELP YOU THROUGH THESE DIFFICULT TIMES.
FIRST, DURING THIS INITIAL TRAGIC TIME, YOU BOTH KNOW THAT BEHIND YOU ARE TWO LOVING AND CARING FAMILIES THAT WILL BE THERE TO BACKSTOP YOU WHENEVER YOU NEED SUPPORT. AND AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE TURNOUT TODAY, BECAUSE YOU BOTH ARE SUCH GOOD AND LOVING PEOPLE, AND HAVE MADE SUCH AN IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF OTHERS, YOU HAVE A MULTITUDE OF FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS WHO ARE HERE FOR YOU TODAY. KNOW THAT THESE FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE, BUT ALSO KNOW IT WILL BE YOUR OWN INNER STRENGTH THAT WILL ULTIMATELY PULL YOU THROUGH THIS TRAGEDY. AND WHILE YOU MAY FEEL TODAY THAT THE HURT WILL NEVER DIMINISH OR GO AWAY, BOTH SHANNON & I KNOW THAT YOU BOTH HAVE THAT DEEP INNER STRENGTH AND LOVE FOR EACH OTHER THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO GET THROUGH THIS.
OF COURSE THAT’S NOT TO SAY YOU’LL EVER FORGET, FOR YOU NEVER WILL. ADDISION WAS WITH YOU FOR TOO SHORT A TIME, AND WHY THESE THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE IS ONE OF THE MYSTERIES OF LIFE, BUT SHE BROUGHT SUCH JOY DURING HER TIME IN YOUR HOME, THAT IF YOU CAN TRY TO REMEMBER THAT JOY, IT WILL, OVER TIME, HELP LESSEN THE PAIN. YOU TWO HAVE MANY, MANY YEARS AHEAD OF YOU AS A COUPLE, AND SHANNON AND I KNOW THERE WILL BE A FAMILY IN YOUR FUTURE. I KNOW THAT’S HARD TO IMAGINE RIGHT NOW, BUT ADDISION WILL, I’M SURE, HAVE BROTHERS OR SISTERS. YOU’LL NEVER FORGET ADDISION, BUT YOU’LL HAVE WONDERFUL CHILDREN WHO WILL REFLECT THAT LOVE AND GOODNESS THAT YOU TWO WILL IMPART. AND WHAT YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR FUTURE FAMILY ABOUT ADDISON IS WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AND SWEET CHILD SHE WAS, AND THAT THEY HAVE A BENEFIT MANY CHILDREN DON’T, AND THATS HAVING AN OLDER SISTER LOOKING OVER THEM AS A GUARDIAN ANGEL.
MANY, MANY YEARS FROM NOW, YOU’LL SEE ADDISON AGAIN, BUT UNTIL THAT TIME COMES CONCENTRATE ON THE JOY SHE BROUGHT THE BOTH OF YOU. COUNT HER TIME WITH YOU AS A BLESSING. WHEN YOU HAVE THAT FAMILY TELL THEM ABOUT THEIR OLDER SISTER IN HEAVEN LOOKING OUT FOR THEM, AND KNOW THAT YOU BOTH HAVE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU. YOU ARE BOTH WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND SWEET ADDISON WILL ALWAYS, ALWAYS BE A PART OF ALL OF OUR FAMILIES. SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
WE LOVE YOU – SHANNON & DAN

Your precious little guardian angel is watching over all of you now! She is smiling, as she knows how much she was loved, how many people loved and cared for her. From the moment she was born and those days in the nicu she felt that love. She was beautiful and sweet, and the days I got to spend with all of you in the hospital meant more to me than you will ever know. I'm so lucky to have gotten to touch those long fingers and her little head of dark hair. Hold onto those memories, make new ones, hold on to eachother support one another and most of all love eachother with all your heart!!! Love you both always and forever

Please know that she knew how very much she was loved and treasured by everyone and how lucky she was to have such a wonderful family. No baby could have felt more love and this is what you need to keep in your hearts. She was a very happy baby and her family was responsible for that happiness. You could not have given her more.

Danielle, Chris, and family, I was saddened for you all when Matt told me the news. With suffering the recent loss of my husband, I want you to know that even though we are only acquaintances through Michelle, I am here for you as someone who can understand the depth of such a loss. Keep your family and friends near you during this difficult time, those who love you will help you through it. Untimely deaths seems so unfair, but God has a plan for us all and must have been ready for little Addison to come home. Have faith that she is watching over you all and still sending you love. Please know that I am here for you.
