I worked with Tom at Hardel's from 1998-2002. Let me tell you, we had some interesting times! Tom was always cracking jokes or telling stories, he was one of a kind. I owe all my knowledge of hardwoods and hardware to him. My heart goes out ot you Linda, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Linda and Family
I was saddened to read of Tom's passing. He was always so nice to my husband Bob when he worked at Hardel 1988-1992, and to me after Bob passed away. Hardel was never the same once Tom left. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Tom and I go back a lot of years. We were both raised in western New York State near Buffalo. Though we didn't know each other then, we ended up both serving in the United States Air Force and fighting in Vietnam. We finally met up in the 1980's in Olympia and because of a mutual interest in rifle and pistol shooting, got to be good friends and fellow workers. Tom helped me with many projects and was a tireless worker at a desk or any job that required hard physical labor. He appeared rough and tough on the outside, but inside he was
soft hearted and always had time to smile. I am sorry that his time ran out before I could repay him in full for the good times we shared.

Linda we are sad that Tom is no longer with us. We extend our condolances to you and your family. Tom is hunting somewhere I am sure and the next time it hails I will know that he is duck hunting with white pellets.
You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Linda, Tom was a good man, we will all miss him much. He was friends with many people. We are very sorry for your loss. At work
he was a tough guy always made us laugh, I would call him "Tommy Gun". He was a hard worker and a friend. Our thoughts will be with
you and your family. "Happy Trucking Tom"

Linda: I'm so sorry for your loss. We probably have met somewhere down the line, as I've called on Hardel's as a sales rep since 1984. I can't remember when I didn't know him down here in Olympia. He knew I spelled my first name w/a J, but it was funny for him to say "Hey G" & I'd respond w/"What it be, T?". Always funny, always smart, & always a friend. I've kept track of the situation thru Dennis & tried to keep Everett , Pete, & Gary in the loop in Centralia. I've known Al Kravitz at Olympic for a long time also & that was a nice touch about the truck! Hope this helped in someway. Jerry

To Tom's Family: Tom was more than a co-worker. He was a friend. He faced all of life's challenges head on, never wondering "why me". He will be rewarded for all his courage in the "Happy Hunting Ground" . Tom will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
