Obituary of Donna Ruth Hanson

Donna Ruth Hanson Donna Ruth Hanson, 53, of Tumwater, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Providence St. Peter Hospital after battling cancer. She was born June 8, 1958, to Don and Lorraine Hanson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Donna graduated from North Thurston High School in 1976, and married Tony Greené on October 27, 1977 in Olympia, Washington. Professionally, she was an executive assistant at the State of Washington Transportation Improvement Board, and also worked for ACS Quality Control for seven years. Donna is survived by her parents Don (Laurie) Hanson and Lorraine (Larry) Rolph; sons Corey Greené of Duvall, Washington, and Jeffrey (Christina) Greené of Abilene, Texas; brother, Steve (Wendy) Hanson; grandchildren, Savanah, Dylan, and Carter Greené, and Colton Barrett; and friend, Mike Strand. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Ruth Goodrich, and Fred and Helen Hanson. Memorial donations may be made in Donna’s name to the American Cancer Society.
