Obituary of John Hannan

John T. Hannan Born on May 31, 1946, John lived most of his life in Western Washington. He passed away at his home in Carlyon Beach on October 17, 2008, after a lengthy, brave struggle with Crohn’s disease. John's parents, Tom and Dorothy Hannan, raised him in Bellevue where he graduated from high school. John also attended Central Washington University. During the 1980's he lived in Longview, WA, where he and his former wife Carole owned the Northwest Corner Store, a holiday floral mail order company. While in Longview John was very active with the B.P.O.E. (Elks) and was a past Exalted Ruler of the Kelso-Longview Lodge. John's love of bowling and people drew many friends to him over the years. He will be greatly missed by his surviving uncle and aunts, many cousins and friends, and his faithful dog Meiko. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Thomas O'Meara M.D. and the Griffin Fire District #13 for their unfailing support. Memorial donations may be made to the charities of The Elks Lodge #1482, 900 Ash Street, Kelso, WA 98626. To leave a condolence click on View Guestbook below:
