Obituary of Frances V. Hanna

Frances V. Hanna Frances V. Hanna, 86, an eight year resident of Des Moines, passed away on July 17, 2009. She was born in Yelm, graduated from Yelm High School in 1940, and moved to Olympia right after graduation until 2001. Frances worked as a telephone operator for 34 years retiring from AT&T in 1978. She loved to play cards, travel, and watch Mariner games. She was a member of Pioneers of America. Frances is survived by her daughter, Melva Hanna Smith of Seattle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Constance Morrow and two sisters, Irene Gray and Melva Maggard. Memorial donations may be given to Highline Home Health & Hospice, 12844 Military Road South, Tukwila, WA, 98168. Frances requested no formal services.
