Obituary of Cheryl E. Hagen

Cheryl E. Hagen passed away in the company of her husband and family, Monday April 23, 2007 at 1:00PM in Lacey, Washington. She was born on January 11, 1941 in Tacoma. Washington, where she spent her childhood years. She married and moved to Federal Way in 1962 where she raised her own family until they moved in 1990 to the house on Offut Lake in Tenino, Washington. She is survived by her husband Mike, two children Debbie Fischer with her husband Geoff, and Michael Hagen with his wife Kathy; 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Jennifer, Jonathan, Stephen and Katelyn; great grandson Ben; sister Jo Anne Lewandowsky with her husband John along with many other cousins, nieces, nephews and an uncle. Cheryl loved gardening, bowling and camping with her friends. She was an active member of her camping trailer club, the Wanderlusts and enjoyed cooking for others. Her spirited personality brought life and energy to every room she entered often engaging in opinionated discussions. She loved to debate and had something to say about almost everything. She spent every spring and summer working with her flower and vegetable gardens. Her favorites were roses. She passed too soon but was able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary on March 1st to her one true love Mike. Cheryl worked in real estate for 25 years before retiring in December 2006. She prided herself on customer service considering the needs of others more important than her own. She was often recognized and rewarded for her high level of personal customer service. She will be missed. An open house is planned for friends and family to celebrate her life at the family home in Tenino, Washington on Sunday, May 6th at 4:00PM.
