There are not enough words in the English language to describe De!! She was joy when the world was dark, and shades when the sun was a lil too bright. She knew when you needed to make light of trouble, or just have someone hear you out. Her laughter exceeded the sounds of this world, and will continue to in my heart. May her soul rest now, may her family & friends find the comfort that only the Angels can provide.
Blessings,
Melissa

Thank you all so very much, I have read each entery and have been very blesses by the words you have spoken. It is very true the things you have said, she was a very special person and shall live in our hearts forever. I miss her more than I can say and am so thankful for the wonderful things you took the time to express. She indeed had a heart that was as soft as could be and when it needed to be solid and straight with you it was. I do believe she is watching us. She loved with all her might and always even if she was angry with you or had set you aside for some reason wanted nothing but the best for you. I miss our talks and even our arguments. Thanks so much for caring so much.
Love to all of you

I had the pleasure of knowing De both online and in person. A wonderful person and a True Friend! She helped so many by being there for them when they needed a shoulder to cry on or just advise. I know she helped me many times. I will definitely miss her!

De was one of the funniest people I have had the pleasure to chat with. OMG....I know I gave her so much grief when she was hosting on AOL. She told me once, that I was allowed to say the word "ASS" once ONLY....each time she hosted. It was just too funny to us.
My condolences to her family.

De, In had hoped you would hang on until I got to Seattle, but, God called you home early, probably for advice. Your charm, grace, laughs, crys, anger and compassion made you a truely unique human being. I had the pleasure to know you, love you, meet you and IM you and you always made my day. Our meeting in NYC, our visit to the Leather Man, our Dinner in DC, your Committment Ceremony in Chicago, are memories I will remember forever. Last week, while onboard a cruise ship in Alaska, I went out on the deck at midnite, raised my Champagne Glass to toast you and a Star twinkled back, so I know you heard my toast. Rest in Peace my friend, you've earned it.

It was my typo of Buth that led the Timothy James Beck writers (me, MtnKwenz, TimcubNYC, EMmaurice2) to start always calling De But(c)h in G&L. I'll never forget all the nights of laughter and the phone call with you and Tim. But(c)h, I hope when you got to the great AOL chatroom in the sky, they issued you the box of Depends you swore you needed from laughing so hard. I'll never forget you.

My heartfelt condolences to De's family and friends. I had the good fortune to meet De (But[c]h) in person at a D.C. function, and she was absolutely as special in person as she was online. She touched the lives of many and will surely be missed.

I always enjoyed Butchie in the room, and loved her humor and standing up for herself. It carried over in real life in the times we met in person at roomie gatherings. She was a tough bird, but so likable. She will be missed by many. Sleep in eternal peace dear De, and put in a good word with the Main Man (or woman) in heaven for me!

Deanna - You will be missed! I met you online "early" on AOL (1998?). Who can forget Host Thor? You were always funny and made my day! I am glad we got to meet in person when you came to the G&L get together in Fort Lauderdale. When I heard the news from Donna, I pulled out my photos from that get together. Good times! That's how I will remember you!

I did know Deanna in person. We shared so much in common that we'd laugh often. Last I spoke with her she was angry with me and remained angry, but I never figured it would last. Now she's in a happier place and I'm hoping that next time around she'll have the life she wanted.
I'll miss the casino poker games, the random visits and her interrogation questions of all newbies. She'd crack me up.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Deanna in person....we talked many, many times on line, both in chat rooms and private messages, even after I left AOL.
She had a heart of pure gold and a very low tolerance for 'jerks'.
At times a 'Drama Queen' but that's what made her so special. She knew it...and she could make you laugh even when you didn't want to laugh!
It is wonderful that she has left so many enjoyable memories with us!
You are going to be missed by so many!
Love Janet
