Obituary of Catherine Lenore Grunenfelder

Catherine L. Grunenfelder, 58, of Olympia, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at her home. She was born March 24, 1947 in Centralia to Henry & Elizabeth (Hamilton) Vanier. She graduated from Olympia High School in 1965 and received an AA from South Puget Sound Community College in 1996. She also attended St. Martins and Pierce Community College. On August 8, 1964 she married Richard Grunenfelder. Catherine was a homemaker and worked for the US Postal Service in Littlerock, WA for several years. She was an avid reader, loved horses, was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard Grunenfelder; Daughters, Kim M. (Brian) Hille of Olympia and Carey A. (Todd) Cholski of Olympia; Grandsons, Tyler Grunenfelder and Bryson Hille; Sisters, Mary Hopp of Arizona and Shirley Hadley of Oregon. There will be a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Scott Lake Community Center. Please make memorial donations to the Littlerock Fire Rescue, 10828 Littlerock Rd.
