Obituary of George Grindle

No visitation George “Max” Grindle, 80, died Saturday, August 5, 2006. He was born March 26, 1926. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. George was a Social Worker for Veteran’s Affairs in Illinois for many years. In 1999 he moved to Tumwater. He was an Olympia #1 lodge member and Eastern Star Trinity 215. Barbara, his wife for over 50 years, preceded him in death in 2004. George is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Cathy, of Issaquah; one grandson, Michael and his wife Amanda, of Graham. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 521 North St. SE, Tumwater.
