I remember lots of fun times with Bob, one I'll never forget ,was a trip over to our cabin the day after christmas, there was 6 kids between us and 2 dogs. WE were going chuker hunting only it was 30 below, A whiteout on the way over, and wind and ice on the return trip, we froze our buns off the whole trip and couldn't hunt he never let us forget it, but it was just one of lots of fun trips with our families. We'll always remember the good times, and miss the times we had together.

We were so sorry to hear this sad news. Everytime we're at the river, I expect to see you two drive up. There's not a time when we play "trashtrain" that we don't think of you. Besides that, we have loads of funny river memories of you guys! Please know our thoughts are with you.

We were very blessed to know Bob from the river trips to Pruitt City. To us a person who loves and cherishes kindness to all animals is a very special person.Bob always showed us that love with his dogs and cat and our dog Luke.We will always remember the - slightly! exagerated size of fish that he and Vance would catch.I know Vance is screaming at Bob right now to slow the darn trolling motor down!!You will always be in our hearts.

We became very good friends with Bob and Diane when they were staying in Arizonia, during the time they were "the birds". Everyone hung out at their camper because they were the social focal point of the entire park...anything you wanted to know just go ask "Bob". He was a wonderful, thoughtful, generous person, with a great sense of humor. He and my husband tipped many a whiskey together. We will miss him dearly. He is in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless

I met Bob through my Dad, Chris, and his wife, Donna. Bob was truely a fixture out there at the river in Arizona. Everybody knew Bob. I had some great times visiting with he and Diane at their trailer and, of course, shooting pool with Bob. The next time I'm out there, I'll be sure to order a "Bob drink" and toast him. Diane, those times spent with you two out there are some that I will remember forever.

We are so glad we got to know you guys better these last few years. Spending time with you at Hood Canal was way too much fun! Naturally the "good old days at Martinez Lake" were some of Bob's (and ours) favorite things to discuss. After a few "refreshments" there was no subject left to the imagination and many tears of laughter. We will never forget Bob's sense of humor and how he could laugh and make fun of his medical problems! We love you Diane, hang in there and we will see you this summer.

We were blessed to have Bob & Diane as a part of our "winter" life for many years. We were at the River this weekend & talking about the great memories we have without knowing we had lost someone so special. The times we spent with B&D will always be the best and it just hasn't been the same there without them. The times we shared either off road, at Fishers or just hanging out in the "Black Hole" were times we will always treasure and be grateful that we were able to have shared them with such a great couple. Thank you for giving us so much to cherish! xoxo

I was very saddened to hear of Bob's passing, and know he put up a
good fight before leaving us. I am so happy that he and Diane found each other and had all these good years together with so many memories. RIP Bob, you are loved, and will be missed.
I enjoyed my visits to AZ, and will always have many smiles when thinking about Bob and Diane on the river and their jeep in the desert.
Love, Norma

My heart goes out to you , Diane, I have special memories of the time, Buck and I stayed with you at Washington. You were great hosts. The years we all spent at Fishers Landing, pool tournaments on Friday nights, your wonderful clam chowder at pot luck nights. I can still recall the many times we run into Bob fishing on the back lakes. He was a great guy. He will be missed. Hang in there, Diane, Life must go on. With all my sympathy, Nellie
