Obituary of Lois Britton Glasgow

Lois Britton Glasgow 1916-2009 Lois left us to be with the Lord on February 13, 2009 in Olympia, Washington, where she had lived for the past five years under the care of her loving family and Garden Courte Memory Care. Lois was born in Hayward, Wisconsin to Richard and Agnes Britton. She had two older brothers and a younger sister. At the age of 13, the family moved to Oakland, California where Lois eventually met and married Glen W. Glasgow. They were married for 55 years and had two daughters, Karen Butler (Mike) of Chicago Park, California and Linda Mason (Doug) of Olympia, Washington. During the course of her life she was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She taught Sunday school, was a Bible Study Fellowship leader, and in her 70’s went to Shiloh Bible College and received her AA and her BA in Theological Studies. She loved the Lord her God with all her heart and lived a long and full life. She is survived by two daughters; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
