Obituary of John Gates

John Gates John Gates, 62, passed away January 25, 2012 in Olympia, Washington. He was born February 23, 1949 to Bill and Jean Gates in Seattle, Washington. He married Anna Mendenhall on July 3, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska, where he lived for 30 years. He also resided in Tumwater, Washington for 19 years. John loved to play golf, and he and Anna loved to take their dogs for walks around Capitol Lake and downtown by the waterfront. John is survived by his wife, Anna Gates; daughter, Heather Stephens of Duncannon, Pennsylvania; brothers, Bill Gates of Nevada and Jeff Gates of Oregon; and two grandchildren.
