Obituary of James Garrison

SFC James Gardner Garrison, Jr. James 55, of Lacey, Washington, passed away October 17, 2010 at Roo Lan Health Care Center. He was born October 18, 1954 in Silver, North Carolina to his parents Helen Joyce (Malone) and James Gardner Garrison, Sr. He grew up in North Carolina and went to Murfeesboro High School and Chowan College. He joined the Army in April 1980 and retired in March 2009. During his enlistment in the Army he had been station in Babenhausen and Auburg Germany,Tacoma, Washington moving to Lacey in April 1990. James married Carolyn Lee Pettus Davis in Newport News, Virginia. Following his retierement in March 2009 he started his own celaning service. James enjoyed weight training, wrestling and watching TV especially football. He was a member of balley fitness Center. Surviving are his wife Carolyn Garrison, Lacey,Washington, Parents James and Joyce Garrison of Murfeesboro, North Carolina, sons James G. Garrison,III of Hawaii and Mack Casey Davis of Virginia, daughters Ebony and Bonnie Garrison, brother Darrell Garrison, of North Carolina ,sisters Joy and Lisa Garrison of Murfeesboro, North Carolina and 4 grandchildren.
