Obituary of LuEtta Frost

A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, October 24th at Funeral Alternatives of Washington, 2830 Willamette Dr. NE, Suite G, Lacey, WA 98516. (360-491-2222) LuEtta, 96 passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at her Olympia Home. She was born August 30, 1914 in Lebanon, South Dakota to Christian Jacob and Ella Marie (Voight) Baum. She grew up in Lebanon graduating from Lebanon High School in 1931. On August 29, 1943 she married Harry Frost in Bremerton, Washington. They had lived in Northfield, Minnesota from 1963 to 1966. They moved to Puyallup, Washington in 1966 where she resided until 2010. Harry preceded her in death. While living in Northfield, Minnesota, LuEtta had worked for Carlton College and later for Tacoma Lutheran Home. She loved cooking, gardening, quilting, playing cards and playing piano. LuEtta enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. LuEtta was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Puyallup, Washington. She sang in the church choir, and also played accompaniment for church events and loved to sing and play piano especially at family gatherings. Surviving are her son, Harry C. (Gail) Frost, Olympia, WA; daughter, Joylyn (Pat) Bigelow, Port Orchard, WA; brother Herman Baum, Lafayette, California; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Alfred Baum and sisters, Marion Rowse and Jeanne Rogers.
