Obituary of Danny Fields

Danny Michael Fields Danny Fields, age 60, of Lacey, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, 2012. Prior to Danny’s illness he had worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technician, having worked in several hospitals in the Pacific Northwest as well as a traveling technician in Arizona and Utah. He had also served in the same field in the US Army. He was well respected in the medical community having worked for over 40 years in the medical field. During Mr. Fields downtime, he enjoyed playing basketball and tennis and watching sports on television. He was also an avid reader. Friends would find him intelligent, funny and very sociable. Danny was a traditional Southern gentleman with a sweet Georgia accent. Survivors include his daughter, Dania Michelle-Juliett Matthews and grandson, Tye Landon-Mfon Matthews, both of San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by brother, Phillip Fields and mother, Lillian Phillips. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Funeral Alternatives of WA, 2830 Willamette Dr NE, Lacey. Burial will follow the next day, Thursday at 10:00 am at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
