Obituary of Krista Ann Feaster

Krista Ann Feaster Krista, 47, passed away May 14, 2012 in Olympia, Washington. She was born April 6, 1965 to Betty Jane Johnson and Harold Roger Feaster in Olympia. A 1983 graduate of Capital High School, Krista attended the University of Montana from 1983 to 1985, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from Western Washington University. She then found her passion attending the Seattle Massage School and succeeded in running her own business as a massage therapist. She recently started work as a Para-Educator for the Olympia School District where she had an instant impact on her co-workers and clients alike. As the secretary of the Shana Park Homeowners’ Association, she proved that her dedication to others did not have any boundaries. Krista married her soul mate, Michael Englehart, on August 17, 2002 at Minerva Beach near Hoodsport. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was hanging out with Michael or playing with her nieces, Annie and Lainie. She enjoyed travelling, wine tasting (not necessarily separate events), and working around the house. The yearly family vacation was always the biggest event she shared with Michael, her brother Kent and his family, wife Tara and their children, Annie and Lainie. She was always involved in some type of crafting, and most recently with Stampin up. She was very active on Facebook, keeping in contact with many friends, all of whom thought of her as the most kind and gentle soul they had ever known. She had an infectious smile that brightened everyone’s lives. She is survived by her husband, Michael Englehart; mother, Betty Taylor, and stepfather, Jim Taylor; mother-in-law, Jacqueline D. Englehart in Olympia and father-in-law, Oren Lester Englehart who lives in North Carolina; sisters, Gail Reuthinger and Lynn Baier; brother, Kent Feaster and sister-in-law, Tara Feaster; nephews and nieces, Annaliese and Alaina Feaster, Jeffrey Kiehn, Jamie Goodman, Mikki Svelmoe, Magan Ham, Danny and Maile Koeckritz, Dave Boucher, Matt Boucher, Josh Boucher, and Wendy Boucher. Krista was preceded in death by her father, Harold Feaster; her second mother, Charlotte Feaster; and oldest sister, Charlene Koeckritz.
