Obituary of Joyce Falkenstein

Joyce D. Blosl Falkenstein Joyce Falkenstein passed away August 23, 2011 in Centralia, Washington. She was born September 11, 1942 to Willard J. Carpenter and Helga (Carpenter) Berkseth in Centralia, where she also attended school and, in 1958, married Daniel L. Blosl, who passed away in 1986. In 1988, Joyce married Marv Falkenstein, who passed away in 1994. She worked for the Churchill Glove Factory in Centralia, and retired after 27 years. Joyce loved crocheting, gardening, casinos and trips. She enjoyed playing dominoes and scrabble with the Vintage Apartment ladies. She also enjoyed reading poems, and wrote a few of her own. She was a member of Centralia Eagles Ladies’ Auxillary. Joyce is survived by her son Billy (Richelle) Blosl; daughters, Lori Blosl (Jesse) Quinton, Dianne Blosl (Tim) Archibald, Susan Blosl (Troy) Nicholson; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brother, Butch Carpenter; and sisters, Juanita Aumiller and Sharon Schmitt. Mom will truly be missed. We lost our best friend.
