Obituary of Jack Evans

Jack Evans, 63, a resident of Olympia for more than 20 years, died at his home on April 1, 2007. He was born June 16, 1943 in Santa Cruz, California to Harvey and Hazel Velma (Lamb) Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents. He enjoyed learning and education and had received his Master’s Degree. Jack had worked for the former PTI (Pacific Telecom Inc.) in Elma, Washington and was a co-owner of Cruise Holidays in Olympia. He enjoyed reading, going for coffee and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. Jack is survived by his son, Roland Evans of Hinesville, Georgia; daughters, Veronica Geibel of Tumwater and Gretchen Schuler of Olympia; five + grandchildren, Chandler, Schuyler, Maddison, Ashleigh, Megan and one on the way. A service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2007 at Forest Funeral Home in Olympia.
