Timothy Ennes

Obituary of Timothy Frederick Ennes

Timothy Frederick Ennes Aberdeen native, Tim Ennes, died November 14, 2011, at his home in Olympia where he had lived since 1976. He was 65 years old. Born in 1946 to Robert and Vivian (Hovis) Ennes, Tim is survived by one sister, Pam Daniels (Nathan); and two nieces, Natalie Streifel and Annette Tometich, all of Aberdeen. Preceding him in death are his father, Robert Ennes; stepfather, P.V. Dickinson; mother, Vivian Dickenson; and business partner and friend, Randy Tobin (B&R Tree Service) who helped Tim get started in tree work. Tim was always on the go. Starting at the age of three years, he would run off downtown and go window shopping. His mother would call the police and they’d bring Tim home in the side car of the motorcycle. Sometimes they’d even stop for ice cream cones. During high school, Tim would take off and ride the rails all over the United States doing odd jobs. Tim mostly worked as a logger in several western states. In 1973, he met the love of his life, Margaret Largen of Centralia. They were married in 1976. They enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing, camping and gardening, and they raised many animals on the small farm they built in south Tumwater. Tim worked for Chehalis Western Railroad for ten years. Then he owned and operated B&R Tree Service for 17 years. He helped his wife start her own business, A Rusty Rooster in Olympia. Tim and his son Aaron did ornamental iron work for nine years in Olympia. Tim was always willing to help others out, and will be greatly missed. In addition to his sister’s family, Tim is survived by his wife, Margaret Ennes; daughter, Molly Ennes; and son, Aaron Ennes, all of Olympia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2011, at South Union Grange Hall, 10030 Tilley Road South, Olympia, Washington.
