Obituary of Robert M. Elvrom

Robert M. “Bob” Elvrom Bob Elvrom,72, passed away May 12, 2012 at home in Lacey, Washington. He was born May 8, 1940 to Cletus Milton Elvrom and Mildred Lois Jeffrey Elvrom in Tacoma, Washington. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He was formerly married to Arlene Elvrom in 1960, and to Mary Jo Fuller Elvrom of Lacey in 1993. Professionally, he worked as a house painter and, the last 17 years, as an instructional aide for the Yelm School District. He loved golf, all sports, and coaching. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; son Terry Elvrom of Tacoma; daughters, Robin Rodriguez and Kim Dawson, both of Tacoma; six grandchildren; brothers, Mason Elvrom of Roy, Washington, and Ray Jeffery of Canyon Country, California; and sister, Dixie Byrne of Federal Way, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Renee Elvrom. Memorial donations may be made to Boys’ Clubs of America or the Salvation Army.
