Obituary of Violet Egolf

Violet K. Egolf Violet Kathrine Egolf, 80, passed away December 11, 2008 at Roo-lan Healthcare Center in Lacey. She was born November 3, 1928 in Town 56 near Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Steve and Mary (Jovar) Furlong. She married Darrel Jene Egolf the day before her birthday on November 2, 1950 in Olympia. They lived together without a quarrel for 61 years and had two sons, Randy and Mike. Violet loved people and took great care of her family, friends and the fortunate strangers who came her way. She met and made many friends over the years playing Bingo and while working at the Elks, Eagles and the VFW. She is survived by her loving husband Darrel of Olympia, sons Randy of Snohomish, and Mike of Tenino, and beloved granddaughters Anna and Isabelle. She is also survived by her siblings Marge of Olympia, Mary-lou and Shirley, and John of Minnesota. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. View Guestbook below:
