She then moved back to Washington and began her work helping others as a Psychiatric Counselor in the outpatient program at Providence St. Peters Hospital until 1999. As an avid gardener and nature enthusiast, Flora enjoyed spending much of her time outdoors, reading and educating herself and others. Her biggest joys in life were spending quality time with her children and their related families. She really enjoyed playing games and having a great time. It has been said that those who give, receive much. Flora was blessed abundantly as she graciously gave much of herself to others. Flora touched many lives. She was a good friend, a warm hearted counselor, a loving mother and grandmother, a gracious giver, a wealth of information and a strong willed believer that one can achieve what they see in their mind if they choose to.
